Enrollment to device memory vs. enrollmet to hard drive
The selection between device and hard drive should appear right after installation of Protector Suite, before first enrollment. You can change it later by editing registry:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Protector Suite QL\1.0\DeviceBio]
Values:
1 - enrollment to device
0 - enrollment to registry (hard drive)
3 - initialization
Before doing any changes, please make sure you have
backup of your Passport!
Please note, that not all fingerprint readers support enrollment to device memory. If you set the unsupported enrollment type, you will get following error message:
0xe7210000 The connected biometric device is not supported in the current configuration
The selection of enrollment is applicable to common version of Protector Suite only, as WBF has its own fingerprint template storage. See
