Recently I cannot open protected files. Every time I click on my protected files I have a pop up as “Invalid File Protection Key”.

Unfortunately, it appears your encryption key data has become corrupted for some reason. 

This is not a recoverable situation. 

We always recommend that users keep a copy of important data in a physically secure location as backup in the event that the *active* copy becomes lost and/or unrecoverable.
