Diagnostic Tool
AuthenTec provides sensor diagnostic tool for TC sensors and readers. This diagnostic tool is not compatible with AES readers and there is no point in using it with AES readers. If you are not sure what fingerprint reader you have please read the following article: How do I know which fingerprint sensor model I have?
Once you download the diagnostic tool unzip it to a folder on your desktop. After you run the tool, it will automatically create a log file. This log file will be placed in the same folder as the diagnostic tool. The log file will have a file name of TCSDiagnosticTestXX.log.
