Why has this Support site converted to self service?
AuthenTec was acquired in October 2012 and the new owner has discontinued the products and services supported on this site.
Can I still purchase products through AuthenTec's online store?
We are no longer offering software and fingerprint readers for sale through our online store. We are providing limited support to existing customers at the current time.
How long will product support be available?
On December 15, 2012, this web site became 100% Self Service. As of that time we will not respond to emails or requests for support. Updates will continue to be posted if a major product issue is identified
What about upgrading to Windows 8?
We are working on releasing versions of our products for Windows 8 that will be free to customers. Please visit our Downloads section to see which products are currently available for Windows 8.
